Tubing Safety: Tubers should always wear a life jacket, helmet and good footwear. Not flip flops. And never try to stand up in moving water. Prevent foot entrapment.
Marshall Gold Park to Highway 49 bridge or Lotus Park
Nice 1.5 mile run with some class 2 rapids. You can walk back to your starting point, 1/4 mile, and do it again without a car shuttle. The river makes a long oxbow here so you get a good float with a short walk back. This run has increased in popularity over the years with tubers. You can get out at the bridge or continue to Lotus park for a longer walk.
The Confluence Run to the Cliffs
You take out at the cliffs on river right and hike back on the trails. See map below. Short run but very nice. Do it in the evening so you don't have to hike in the heat of the day.
